Did i mention I did a blog clean up? This space is quite empty.
Been a busy bee and this blog is being ignored. The 9-5 gig is really killing me. I think I've reached a stagnant point and I need a change of pace and environment. But that's a different story and I'm trying to do something about it slowly but surely.
While I'm in that process and to compensate before I go insane, I've been taking on projects and activities that I really enjoy doing...and it either has to do with art, sunshine, learning...or some sort of moving activity. I can never stay in one place.
I'm working on a secret project and trying to get it done before December...I didn't think it was this time consuming but I think my efforts will be worth it. Stay tuned.
Hubby and I, along w/ our friends, have a Dragonboat race competition in Oct. Can't wait for that..it's a lot of fun..but not fun being splashed with the Schuylkill River and smelling like sewer right after. Don't be deceived by the picture. The water seems deadly.
There are other things we've been doing as well but that's saved for later posts.
For now, enjoy some vanity care of the husband...we were bored. Can you tell? Shots and edits done by me.

The 'cuffed' look
So, Kat of the TomKat duo has been seen sporting these cuffed baggy jeans.
Personally, I think the cuffed denim would look better with more of a fitted jean with some platforms like Jane’s chica mother from Sea of Shoes or ManilaFashionObserver.

Socks + Sandals...OH MY!
Everyone has their major fashion don’ts. Mine in particular is wearing socks with sandals.
What’s the point really? Is it to avoid major foot sweatage? Is it more comfortable than wearing sandals without socks? Does the sock provide extra protection from the dirt you walk on? I really don’t understand.
Well, I guess there always an exception but the re-invented version is not as horrendous as the ‘tourist w/ sandal + sock” combo.
It looks cute on SOME people. Only certain individuals can get away with it and I’m not one of them. I won’t even try…only because
a) I’m already short and the ankle sock would make my legs look even shorter and stumpy
b) There’s a certain age you can wear this look with. Maybe highschool-ish to early 20’s just like this Gossip Girl
c) Husband’s going to give me a hard time about it and I’ll be the butt of many jokes for the rest of the day. Well I don’t really care about being made fun of but I’m not willing to risk it for this one only because…

d) …this look hasn’t really rubbed in a good way.
What do you think about this trend?
